The next time someone loses an item underwater, you can be the hero that finds the missing object. In the PADI Search and Recovery course, you’ll learn how to find lost objects underwater. You’ll practice different types of underwater search patterns and learn how to use a lift bag as you plan and execute mock search operations.

Prerequisites
- You must have your open water diver course
- you must be 12 years of age
Scuba Gear You Use
A full set of gear is required, two tanks, as well as students, will need a compass and underwater slate. It is also recommended that students have a dive light, marker buoys, lines & reels, and a lift bag. Students receive 50% off any rental gear they will need.
Learning Materials You Need
Students read and complete Knowledge reviews in the Search and Recovery Diver textbook before class.
